The RiO Center, part of the Omenaa Foundation, is a modern educational space full of inspiration and development opportunities for children and young people.
In April 2022, the RiO Edu Center was established – a place created for women and children who, fleeing war, found refuge in Poland. From the outset, its goal was to provide them with safety and a chance at a new life. To this day, the Center offers this group a safe space where children can learn, play, and develop, while mothers receive support with integration and learning Polish. These activities have become not only a real support in everyday life but also a symbol of solidarity and hope.
In 2023, in response to emerging needs, the Center launched the RiO Vibe Center. Its activities focus on supporting children and young people from Polish orphanages and refugee families from Ukraine. It offers them psychological support, psychoeducation, and activities that support motor and social development.
Since its inception, the Foundation has provided significant funding for the RiO Edu Centrum’s activities. Since 2022, total support has reached nearly PLN 9 million, a significant portion of which has been allocated to supporting mothers and children in Ukraine.

May 2014 – Omenaa Foundation launches – a foundation founded by Omenaa Mensah. Its mission is to support the education and development of children in Poland and abroad. The organization builds schools and educational centers, including the “Kids Haven School” and the upcoming Sport & Art Complex in Ghana, and provides computer equipment to children in orphanages and foster families in Poland.
The Foundation also runs social campaigns, an environmental campaign, and the “Zostań kim chce” fashion project, the proceeds of which support children’s education. Each year, it organizes the prestigious TOP CHARITY charity auction, through which it develops initiatives and supports other organizations working for children.

April 2022 – thanks to the joining forces of Omenaa Foundation and Allianz Partners, three weeks after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the RiO Edu Centrum day support and education center is established, which is a safe space for women and children who are war refugees.

January 2023 – RiO Vibe Centrum was inaugurated, where RiO Edu Centrum residents and children and young people from orphanages receive, among other things, psychological support and psychoeducation.

March 2025 – The RiO Edu Centrum undergoes renovation. A number of new educational and artistic projects are launched in the space designed by the renowned artist Bruno Neuhamer.

September 2025 – RiO Edu Centrum becomes RiO Centrum – place with an even broader mission and new opportunities. The name change is also accompanied by a new structure that allows us to operate even more effectively.
