27 Aug RiO Edu Centrum: ReStart – a new opening in a new version
On September 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM, the RiO Edu Centrum will host a unique event: ReStart – a symbolic opening of a new phase of this unique educational and artistic space.
This is a special moment not only for the RiO students, but also for all those who value equal opportunities, development through art, and community values.
This time, the center surprises not only with an expanded program, but also with a completely new visual presentation created by Bruno Neuhamer – a renowned muralist known for his large-scale works in public spaces. His works can be admired on walls in Warsaw, Berlin, and Vienna. In his work, he combines street art aesthetics with a profound social message, creating images that not only decorate but also move.
The mural created at RiO, along with the masks (featuring Korczak, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and Aretha Franklin) and the leopard sculpture , is more than just decoration – it’s a manifestation of childhood strength, creativity, and hope. The colors, shapes, and symbolism reflect the diverse experiences, dreams, and emotions of the young people RiO supports on their path to independence. Neuhamer created a work that aligns with the idea of a place – open, empathetic, and full of inspiration.
The new RiO space was created with children and young people in difficult life situations in mind – so they can develop their passions, gain knowledge, but also experience agency, sensitivity, and cooperation. ReStart is not just a reopening – it’s a step towards even more comprehensive support for children and young people.
The event program includes creative workshops, entertainment for children, and family activities that will introduce participants to the world of science and art through play.
