RiO VIBE Center psychologists specialize in providing support for individuals facing emotional crises, neurotic or depressive symptoms, a sense of lack of meaning and purpose in life, grief following the loss of loved ones (such as separation or bereavement), trauma, and symptoms associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Each session is conducted with strict confidentiality, and our team of passionate psychologists and psychotherapists has extensive experience, working under constant supervision.
TUS, or social skills training offered by RiO VIBE Center psychologists, is a group activity designed to help children and adolescents develop essential social skills, with a particular focus on communication.
The training is conducted in small groups, ensuring participants are in a similar age range.
During TUS sessions, children practice various skills aimed at enhancing their social interactions. These include identifying and managing difficult emotions such as anger, frustration, fear, and insecurity. Additionally, participants learn about setting and respecting personal boundaries, assertiveness, joining conversations, asking questions, active listening, giving and receiving compliments, expressing and responding to criticism and hate, and engaging in respectful discussions while respecting others’ boundaries.
Sensory integration is a vital process that takes place within the nervous system, involving the reception and organization of stimuli received through the senses. At the RIO VIBE Center, our sensory integration classes aim to address and overcome challenges related to balance disorders, eye-hand coordination difficulties, hyperactivity or avoidance of movement, as well as issues with reduced or increased muscle tension.
