TUS, or social skills training offered by RiO VIBE Center psychologists, is a group activity designed to help children and adolescents develop essential social skills, with a particular focus on communication.
The training is conducted in small groups, ensuring participants are in a similar age range.
During TUS sessions, children practice various skills aimed at enhancing their social interactions. These include identifying and managing difficult emotions such as anger, frustration, fear, and insecurity. Additionally, participants learn about setting and respecting personal boundaries, assertiveness, joining conversations, asking questions, active listening, giving and receiving compliments, expressing and responding to criticism and hate, and engaging in respectful discussions while respecting others’ boundaries.
